Camping

Camping is available on the festival site from Thursday afternoon (3pm) through to Monday morning (11am).

Camping at Chester Racecourse is a unique experience and is only available when the Cheshire & North Wales Food and Drink Festival is on, making it the most exclusive turf in Chester, offering space for tents, campervans, and motorhomes. It’s a convenient base with easy access to both the festival and Chester’s city centre.

A camping pitch does not provide automatic access to the festival. Tickets to attend the Cheshire & North Wales Food and Drink Festival must be purchased separately.

Important Information:

Choose between general camping or electric hook-up (EHU) pitches.
Suitable space for tents or Live-in Vehicles (caravan, campervan or RV)
Electric Hook Ups (EHU) available (additional costs apply). Standard pitches DO NOT have EHU
Pitch size: 8m x 8m for tents or Live-in Vehicles
You may have an awning, porch or other camping equipment on your pitch subject to not taking up space outside of your pitch
You may leave your car on your pitch with your tent or caravan as long as it fits within the 8m x 8m pitch
Additional or oversized cars will need to buy a weekend car parking pass (additional costs apply / nearby parking)
All pitches are unreserved and allocated on arrival. If you want to stay with friends we recommend you arrive at the same time, this will not be offered otherwise.
Access to shared toilets, free-to-use showers, water, bins, recycling facilities and disposal facilities for your chemical toilet cassette and waste water
Fire pits are not permitted
Strict Midnight noise curfew
Respect – we have a zero tolerance for those not being respectful to staff and/or other campers
